"Leonora di Vargas is the Guatemalan-Italian soprano Ana Isabel Lazo, gifted with a lirico-spinto voice, aproaches each page of the score with delicacy and vocal homogeneity, creating a strong character with great emotional impact. Her full and gleaming sound intensifies the spirituality of "La vestizione" scene and adds drama to the beautifully sung “Pace, pace mio Dio”.

Patricia Monteverdi

"The revelation of the evening was Ana Isabel Lazo as Leonora on her debut in the role, with the beauty of her sound even in the pianissimi and with great expressiveness, she was able to fully conquer the audience that gave her a round of applause."
