"Leonora di Vargas is the Guatemalan-Italian soprano Ana Isabel Lazo, gifted with a lirico-spinto voice, aproaches each page of the score with delicacy and vocal homogeneity, creating a strong character with great emotional impact. Her full and gleaming sound intensifies the spirituality of "La vestizione" scene and adds drama to the beautifully sung “Pace, pace mio Dio”.
